Tuvalu is sinking because of rising sea levels, driven by fossil fuel industries.

This article tells you the story of how real and existential the climate crisis is for us.

No one feels it more deeply, or knows what’s at stake, than the Pacific people. People of the moana. My people.

This visa deal between Tuvalu and the Australian government is a signed deal that will demonstrate by the end of this year, people of the Pacific will be the first climate refugees.

What a title to have!

The Australian government pets itself in the back as a partner of the Pacific and comes across as being compassionate, yet this visa deal does nothing to address the real issue. The Australian government continues to approve the very thing that is sinking our islands — coal and gas.

How dare this government on one hand give us a lifeboat, yet on the other, pours fuel on the fire.
