In Conversation: Protecting Sex Workers

Despite the decriminalisation of sex work in Victoria, many sex workers continue to face barriers to accessing health care, housing, family violence support and justice services.

I will be hosting a community discussion with sex workers and advocates Rory La Roche, Bee Charika and Layla to hear directly from people with lived experience about the challenges facing sex workers, the importance of peer-led services, and the reforms still needed to ensure rights are realised in practice.

Join us to hear how communities can support sex worker-led advocacy, and how MPs and Parliament can strengthen protections and end discrimination against sex workers.
